Dammy Krane Pleads for Forgiveness

Nigerian singer Oyindamola Emmanuel Johnson, popularly known as Dammy Krane, has taken to social media to plead for forgiveness from both Nigerians.


Recall Singer Dammy Krane was arrested and detained at the Criminal Investigation Department in Abuja by his acclaimed chief industry enemy Davido on Thursday August 22, 2024. that he had earlier tweeted; “If anything happens to me, @Davido should be held responsible”. Before this, for months, he has been making several allegation posts about the star Davido, including the accusation of the death of his friend Tagbo.


In one of the alleged claims by Krane, he also claimed that OBO owed him money and in response, Davido calmly warned him that he did not want any issues with and advised him to refrain from these false Allegation.


Further-more, these allegations continued for months and following Krane’s action of defamation, he was later issued a cease and desist Notice from OBO’s laywer.


However, Krane cried out, begging Nigerians to come to his aid. He later gained his freedom on August 28, 2024, after the social media activist Martins Vincent Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan aka VDM pleaded with Davido on-behalf of Krane for his release.


VDM got lots of both praises and lash-backs of many for his kind gesture towards Krane. Some people criticized him for helping Krane, insisting that he was ungrateful.


VDM, who intervened on the matter that led to Krane’s release, was seen in a viral video taking care of him.


After his release, the singer took to the streets of X on Thursday to express his deepest regret for his actions;

“I want to apologize to Nigerians for the negative energy I have put up on the media before today. I know a lot was expected of me but I messed up. I wish I could take back the hands of time, but only God can. I will do what I can, which is to apologize”.


“I am sorry about everything, and to my fans (I hope I still have fans lol). To my fans, if I still have, I am sorry. Moving on, expect good music from me and music only”.


“I’m starting a prison reform foundation for the illegally detained”.
